Maui - Last and Best Snorkel Day: Kaanapali

Our last day in Hawaii turned out to be the best day for snorkeling of the whole trip.  For the most part, this is because we had some really close encounters with green sea turtles.  First, we saw just one and watched it for a while.  But then, I was snorkeling around and looked down below me and saw the biggest sea turtle I have ever seen, literally 3-4 feet below me.  It was so big that if blocked my view of anything but turtle!  At first it startled me (BIG TIME), but when I realized what it was, I started laughing - laughing because a turtle of all things, startled me.
